Burt Reynolds claims Charlie Sheen deserves his HIV diagnosis

Reynolds appeared on Loose Women where he publically said he believes Sheen ‘deserves’ what has happened to him and brought it on himself.

Loose Women is still said to be airing this footage of Reynolds saying the offensive quote. Apparently the audience went deadly silent as did Coleen Nolan and Ruth Langsford, as no one really knew how to react.

Reynolds revealed the worst experience of his life was to be rumoured to be HIV positive during the 1980s. He was incredibly skinny due to his jaw being broken but a lot of people and the media accused his size of being down to HIV.

Ruth asked Reynolds if he felt especially sorry for Charlie Sheen as he actually has the disease to which Reynolds responded: ‘For Charlie, no, he deserves it. He misbehaved badly. Very badly.’

He cemented his view by saying Sheen is ‘getting what he deserves’ from the media.

Reynolds also told us that he only feels bad for Charlie Sheen’s father Marin Sheen. He said Martin is a close friend of his and a decent man and he does not deserve to receive this sort of attention from the media.
